Description of Works

For this project of a 5-storey, timber frame block of 40 apartments, DCB Kent Ltd requested us to provide Remedial fire stopping / upgrading of existing fire protection - fire collars/ intumescent wraps to vent grilles, ducting and the like that penetrate the suspended fire ceilings within each unit.

To provide fire collars and/or intumescent wraps to SVP's, trim back expanded "pink foams" to heads of partition walling, door frames and sealing/facing with good quality non shrinking intumescent mastics and sealants.

Fire stop included party wall details, service penetrations to both fire walls and compartment walls/service risers.
