Description of Works

At this college we are to supply and install cavity fire barriers to vertical joints, windows, door openings etc.

To supply and spray specialist fire timber coatings to achieve the require class 0 spread of flame fire protection.

Fire stop open risers/ service penetrations through compartment slabs/floors by using both non load and load bearing fire stops - This is achieved by carefully scribing, cutting and friction fitting thick high density coated fire batt in and around multiple services within riser - sealing all edges, joints and abutments with intumescent mastics and sealants including wraps and collars if required.

Also, adding fire mortars filling the aperture to a depth of 100mm and trowled for an even finish.
