Description of Works

We provided both intumescent painting and fire stopping works for this project. We supplied and installed metal pipe collars around PVC Ductworks passing through fire compartment walls, making sure that a collar has been fitted on both sides of the fire wall.

A 60 minute fire curtain has been installed to the underside of the roof to head of compartment walls. Plus 60 minute solvent and water based intumescent coatings to phase 1 and 2 structural steelwork.

Lastly, an under floor void stop detail between rooms - A high density, thick coated fire batt, scribed and cut and tightly packed into the under floor void, slab to the underside of partition walling and sealed all edges/joints and abutments with intumescent mastics and sealants.
